Pay: $25+ per hour DOE
Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (12-hour shifts, may include 7-day work weeks)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Fitter for a Broken Arrow manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for mounting and installing instruments such as gauges, sensors, flow meters, and valves. The Instrument Fitter will also calibrate instruments, troubleshoot issues, and perform inspections and repairs to ensure accurate measurement and proper system functionality. This is a demanding role requiring long shifts and a strong commitment to safety and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Mount and install pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves according to specifications.
• Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate measurements and proper functionality.
• Conduct routine inspections and repair/replace faulty instruments as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, calibrations, and modifications.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations in daily tasks.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience with small bore tubing fabrication (¼" to 1") using hand and crank bending equipment.
• Skilled with measuring tools (tape measures, speed squares, angle finders).
• Knowledge of valves, pressure regulators, and valve actuators.
• Experience with hydraulics, including flexible hydraulic assemblies.
• Ability to perform pump installation, alignment, and work with high-pressure/cryogenic systems.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Frequent standing, climbing, bending, grasping, pulling, pushing, stooping, and carrying.
• Ability to work at elevated heights up to 50 feet, including ladder use.

Preferred Education

• High School Diploma required.
