Job Title: Inspector/Packer
Pay: $18+/hour (Depending on Experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Location: Sand Springs, OK

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inspector/Packer to support heat-forged rail track spike production in Sand Springs, OK. This role is split evenly between inspection and packaging duties, rotating on a formal schedule. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced production environment, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection Duties (50%)

• Visually examine forged spikes for surface defects such as cracks, pits, laps, discoloration, excessive scale, or deformation
• Use fixed or preset gauges to verify spike dimensions and head shape
• Monitor product flow on the conveyor line and prevent or clear jams

Packaging Duties (50%)

• Operate automated filler equipment, ensuring proper weight specifications are met
• Set and adjust load scales as needed
• Manually position and stack containers onto pallets
• Label containers accurately and maintain up-to-date production records

Additional Tasks

• Occasionally operate a forklift to move palletized kegs to designated areas such as docks, shrink-wrap stations, or temporary storage
  Forklift training may be provided.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with a high level of focus
• Familiarity with basic measurement tools and gauges
• Forklift experience preferred
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and team collaboration skills
