Inspector / Packer
Pay: $18+/hour (Based on Experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Location: Sand Springs, OK

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inspector/Packer to join our team in Sand Springs. This role involves inspecting and packaging heat-forged rail track spikes to meet both customer and industry quality standards. The position is divided evenly between inspection and packaging duties, rotating on a formal schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection Duties (50%)
• Visually inspect forged spikes for surface defects such as cracks, pits, laps, discoloration, excessive scale, or deformation
• Use fixed or preset gauges to verify spike dimensions and head shape
• Monitor conveyor line activity to detect and resolve jams

Packaging Duties (50%)
• Operate automated filler equipment to ensure proper container weight
• Adjust and calibrate load scales as needed
• Manually place filled containers onto pallets
• Label containers with correct product information and maintain accurate records

Additional Responsibilities
• Operate a forklift occasionally to transport palletized kegs to docks, shrink-wrap stations, or temporary storage

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with consistent attention to detail
• Basic understanding of measurement tools and gauges
• Forklift experience preferred (training may be provided)
• Strong work ethic and reliability
