Industrial Painter / Sandblaster

Pay: $26–$27 per hour

Shifts Available:
• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 5:00 PM – 3:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Paint / Sandblasters to join a manufacturing environment supporting industrial coating and surface preparation operations. This role requires hands-on experience with abrasive blasting and conventional spray applications on industrial components.

Essential Job Duties

• Perform abrasive blasting (grit blast) to prepare metal surfaces for coating
• Apply inorganic zinc, epoxy coatings, and high-temperature topcoats per specifications
• Operate conventional spray equipment (not airless systems)
• Inspect coated surfaces to ensure quality, coverage, and compliance
• Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and coating specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

• Proven experience applying Inorganic Zinc coatings
• Experience with High-Temperature Topcoat applications
• Experience applying Epoxy coatings
• Minimum 2 years of abrasive blasting (grit blast) experience
• Experience using conventional spray application methods
• Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Preferred Qualifications

• Industrial or manufacturing paint experience
• Ability to read work instructions and coating specifications
• Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shift
