Industrial Painter / Blaster

·         Pay: $19.00/hour

·         Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

·         Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled Industrial Painter/Blaster to join our team. This position plays a critical role in the surface preparation and coating of industrial components. Working in a safety-sensitive environment, the ideal candidate must be familiar with overhead cranes, forklifts, and other industrial equipment while adhering to high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Apply industrial coatings to specified thicknesses.

·         Mix, thin, and adjust spray equipment to ensure proper atomization.

·         Apply secondary coatings and verify specified finish.

·         Operate overhead cranes, power tools, and related equipment.

·         Inspect equipment at the beginning and end of each shift; report any issues immediately.

·         Maintain required documentation and adhere to productivity targets.

·         Keep the work area clean and organized.

·         Follow all safety procedures and protocols at all times.

·         Maintain consistent quality and workmanship in accordance with company standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

·         Minimum 1 year of industrial painting experience.

·         Familiarity with various industrial coatings and application processes.

·         Understanding of the impact of temperature and humidity on coatings.

·         Knowledge of fast- and slow-evaporating solvents.

·         Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and paint data sheets.

·         Demonstrated professionalism and team collaboration.

·         Desire and ability to lead or contribute to a team-oriented environment.
