Position Overview

The Industrial Painter is responsible for preparing and applying industrial coatings to metal and other surfaces in a production environment. This Industrial Painter role involves using conventional and airless spray equipment while ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. The ideal Industrial Painter has experience in a paint booth environment and can maintain consistent, high-quality finishes in a fast-paced setting.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial painting experience preferred, especially in a paint booth
• Experience using conventional and airless spray equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment
• Knowledge of industrial coatings and surface preparation techniques
• Commitment to following safety procedures and workplace standards

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare materials, surfaces, and structures for coatings
• Apply industrial coatings using conventional and airless spray equipment
• Adjust spray gun nozzles to ensure proper paint dispersion
• Monitor paint flow and viscosity for consistent finishes
• Clean and maintain paint lines, spray guns, and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on painting equipment
• Regulate temperature and air circulation in drying ovens
• Follow all company safety rules and procedures
• Multitask while meeting production requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
