Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Industrial Painter to support a busy fabrication environment. This Industrial Painter role involves preparing, coating, and finishing fabricated components to meet quality and industry standards. The Industrial Painter position is ideal for applicants who are safety-focused and comfortable working in an industrial shop setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial painting experience preferred
• Experience with metal fabrication environments is a plus
• Ability to use spray systems and multi-part coating products
• Able to read specifications and understand coating requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Must pass a respirator fit test and wear required PPE
• Strong attention to detail and quality

Key Responsibilities

The Industrial Painter role includes the following duties:

• Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, grinding, or blasting
• Apply coatings using spray guns, pressure pots, rollers, and other painting tools
• Mix paints, primers, epoxies, and urethanes according to specifications
• Inspect finished products for uniformity, adhesion, thickness, and quality
• Perform touch-ups and rework as needed
• Maintain and clean paint equipment, hoses, guns, and spray booths
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and respirator requirements
• Read and interpret work orders, specifications, and job instructions
• Assist with material handling or positioning parts for painting
