Box Header Welder

• Pay: $24-30/hr
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 6AM-4:30PM or 5PM-3:30AM

Job Overview: We are looking for skilled Box Header Welders who are experienced in GMAW and FCAW processes, with a background in working with carbon steel. This role requires passing a 2G plate test on a 1" single bevel plate, using a 3/16" open root and straight hardwire 0.45 MIG for the fill and cap with flux. Strong skills in reading and interpreting blueprints are needed.

Responsibilities:

• Set up welders for clean, spatter-free welds
• Perform MIG and Flux core welding
• Troubleshoot welding equipment as needed
• Use basic fabrication tools, like saws and grinders
• Work with welding fixtures
• Follow production schedules
• Keep a clean and organized workspace

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Box Header Welder with GMAW and FCAW on carbon steel
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Proficiency in MIG and Flux core welding
• Experience with troubleshooting welding equipment
• Skilled in using basic fabrication tools, such as saws and grinders
• Ability to read and follow production schedules
