Header Welder

Pay: $24-30/hr.

Hours: Monday- Friday Day Shift 6AM-4:30PM OR Night Shift 5PM-3:30AM

Weld Test: 2G Plate test on 1" single bevel plate; 3/16" open root straight hardwire 0.45 Mig & Flux fill and cap.

Job Description:

We are looking for skilled Box Header Welders with proficiency in GMAW and FCAW processes, specializing in carbon steel. The successful candidate will be required to pass a 2G Plate test on a 1" single bevel plate, which includes a 3/16" open root with 0.45 Mig hardwire and Flux fill and cap. Strong blueprint reading, and interpretation skills are essential.

Responsibilities: 

• Ability to set up welders to produce cosmetically pleasing, spatter-free welds.
• Prior knowledge of MIG and flux core welding processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot welding equipment.
• Working knowledge of basic fabrication equipment (e.g., saws, grinders, etc.).
• Ability to use weld fixtures.
• Must be able to read and comprehend production schedules.
• Maintain an organized and tidy workspace, adhering to housekeeping standards.
