Header Welder

Pay: $25+/hr. (Based on experience) 

Hours: Day Shift 6AM-4:30PM Night shift 5PM-5:30AM (Overtime may be required)

Weld Test: Pass a 2G plate test with GTAW root pass and SMAW fill and cap

Job Description:

Header Welders must be proficient in reading blueprints for accurate layout and assembly. They must skillfully fit and weld fabricated and forged components to assemble Header parts using Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and/or Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) processes. Responsibilities include positioning, aligning, and fitting components together, then tack-welding parts to secure them in place using the appropriate welding process and procedure. Additionally, welders should be capable of setting up welding equipment for various types of materials.
