Header Welders Needed!

Pay: $24.00-30.00/hr. DOE

Hours: 5:00AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday

Location: Tulsa, OK

Test:2G Plate test on 1" single bevel plate; 3/16" open root; straight hardwire Mig & Flux fill and cap.

Job Duties: 

Will fit and weld fabricated and forged components to assemble header components with Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, and/or Gas Tungsten Arc Welding Position. Must be able to align, and fit components together and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding using correct welding process and procedure. Set up welding equipment for the type of material being used. Hammer wedges and drift pins. Grind rough edges, surplus weld, or scale, using portable grinder. Proficient with a cutting torch and/or plasma cutter preferred. Must be proficient in blueprint reading.

Experience: Must have 2+ years’ experience.
