Header Cleaner
Pay: $17-$19.50 per hour
Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Saturday

Job Brief:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Header Cleaner to support our welding operations by cleaning box headers and assisting with various shop duties. In this role, you’ll use specialized tools to ensure a clean and precise finish on welded materials. Additionally, you’ll play a key part in maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe work environment. Your skills with overhead cranes, forklifts, and basic measurement tools are essential to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Box Header Cleaning: Use a chatter gun, chipping hammer, and grinder to clean headers after welding.
• Measurement Tasks: Utilize a tape measure to ensure accuracy in cleaning and preparation.
• Shop Operations: Perform additional duties to support daily shop operations.
• Equipment Operation: Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Workspace Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, organized, and productive shop environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Equipment Skills: Proficient in operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Tool Knowledge: Skilled with grinders, chipping hammers, and chatter guns.
• Measurement Skills: Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
• Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills to support shop operations.
