Position Overview 

We are seeking a mechanically inclined and safety-focused Hardware Technician to install, service, and repair commercial garage doors and related systems. This Hardware Technician role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to lift heavy materials, and comfort working in field-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair commercial garage doors, openers, and associated hardware

• Safely operate hand tools and power tools

• Read tape measures, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately

• Lift and move doors, panels, and equipment (up to 75 lbs)

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record

• Ability to perform heavy physical labor in various conditions

• Strong experience using power tools and mechanical equipment

• High attention to detail, especially in measurements

• Prior experience in garage door installation/repair or related mechanical/construction work preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Work Environment

• Field-based role traveling to customer sites

• Exposure to outdoor elements and industrial settings

• Standard business hours with occasional overtime
