Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Hand Welder to join a fabrication team in Sapulpa. This Hand Welder role requires experience across multiple welding processes and the ability to produce high-quality welds on pipe, structural, and fabrication projects while meeting strict code and quality requirements.

What the Hand Welder Will Be Doing

• Perform welding using Stick (SMAW), MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and Flux Core (FCAW) processes
• Complete pipe welding, structural welding, and fabrication work
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications
• Set up and operate welding equipment according to WPS and job requirements
• Maintain high standards for weld quality, appearance, and integrity
• Follow all safety policies and quality procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Weld Test Requirements for the Hand Welder

• 2G MIG & Flux Core test – radiographed and bend tested
• 2G Stick test – radiographed
• 3G vertical uphill TIG test – radiographed (code requirement)

Required Qualifications for the Hand Welder

• Proven experience with multiple welding processes
• Ability to pass all required weld tests
• Strong blueprint reading and welding symbol interpretation skills
• Experience with pipe, structural, and fabrication welding
• Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail
