Grinder 

Pay: $16/hour
Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
Location: Sand Springs, OK
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable Grinder to join our manufacturing team in Sand Springs. This role focuses on precision smoothing, polishing, and grinding of component parts to meet exact specifications. Key Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints to ensure specifications and dimensions are met.
• Set up and operate standard manufacturing equipment.
• Deburr, buff, and grind materials to precise specifications.
• Dress grinding wheels as needed to maintain machine performance.
• Ensure safety devices are functional and adhered to at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas.
• Complete assigned tasks within specified time frames and to required quality standards.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with manufacturing tools and their proper use.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Effective verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and reaching.
• Comfortable working in environments with high noise levels, confined spaces, heights, or congested areas.
• Willingness to work shifts, rotations, and in a shop setting as needed.
