Position Overview

The General Warehouse associate supports daily shop and warehouse operations by assisting with fabrication support tasks, material handling, and general facility maintenance. This General Warehouse role works closely with production teams to maintain workflow efficiency, assist with equipment operations, and support welding and fabrication activities. The ideal General Warehouse candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in an industrial environment with varying temperatures and physical job duties.

Required Experience & Skills

• Previous experience in an industrial, construction, or general labor environment
• Ability to follow safety procedures and workplace guidelines
• Ability to lift light to heavy materials and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Comfortable standing, bending, squatting, and climbing as required
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Willingness to learn and operate shop equipment and tools

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Follow standard operating procedures and job safety requirements
• Assist with fabrication and welding support tasks as needed
• Operate or assist with machinery and shop equipment when trained
• Help with material handling and delivery preparation
• Learn to operate grinders, cranes, forklifts, plasma cutters, and other shop tools
• Support general shop maintenance and production workflow
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient operations
• Perform additional duties or projects assigned by management

Preferred Education

• Additional manufacturing education or certifications preferred
