General Labor/Sandblasting
Pay: $18/hour DOE+
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 4:45pm

Job Summary:

We are hiring for a General Labor/Sandblasting position at a Tulsa-based facility. This is a hands-on role that requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work across multiple departments. The ideal candidate for the General Labor/Sandblasting position will have forklift experience and be comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environments while performing physical tasks throughout the day.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year forklift operating experience.
• Load and unload using a forklift.
• Pack orders as needed.
• Pressure wash and degrease equipment.
• Work in multiple departments based on daily needs.
• Maintain a consistent job history.
• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces.
• Apply powder coatings using electrostatic spray guns in a spray booth.
• Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure proper surface preparation before coating.
• Cure coated items in industrial ovens per specifications.
• Maintain and clean equipment, spray booths, and work areas.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Monitor coating thickness and finish quality.
• Assist with loading and unloading parts from racks and ovens.
• Perform routine maintenance on sandblasting and coating equipment.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating materials.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, push, and pull.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs+.
• Ability to work in non-climate controlled environments.
• Must be able to stand for 8–10 hours daily.
• Willingness to work in different departments as needed.
