Hours: Monday–Saturday | 7:00 AM–6:00 PM (Saturdays until 12–2 PM as needed)

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to support material handling and shipment preparation for large steel beams. The Forklift Operator will primarily operate a sit-down forklift to move and stack beams outdoors, assist with beam positioning, and follow strict safety procedures while working in a fast-paced environment with frequent overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move and stack beams
• Assist with positioning beams for trailer loading (no loading required)
• Use overhead or bridge crane when applicable (experience preferred, not required)
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills & Abilities

• Proven sit-down forklift experience required
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to safety and situational awareness

Education & Experience

• Previous forklift operating experience required
• Overhead or bridge crane experience a plus
• Material handling or warehouse experience preferred
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 30 lbs
• Bend, squat, kneel, sit, and/or stand for extended periods
