Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our outdoor logistics team. In this role, you’ll help prepare beams for shipment by operating a sit-down forklift to move and stack heavy materials. The Forklift Operator will work outdoors in all weather conditions and should be prepared for regular overtime in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move and stack steel beams.
• Assist with positioning beams for loading (you will not be responsible for trailer loading).
• Operate an overhead or bridge crane when needed (experience preferred).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational policies.
• Perform additional material handling and general labor duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities

• Proven sit-down forklift operating experience required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, squatting, kneeling, and standing for long periods.
• Strong attention to safety, detail, and teamwork.

Education & Experience

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Overhead or bridge crane experience a plus.
• Prior warehouse or material handling background preferred.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working in outdoor environments with variable temperatures.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
