Job Title: Forklift Operator
Pay: $20.68/hour
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Some Fridays required)
Location: Tulsa, OK
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Tulsa. This position plays a key role in moving raw and finished materials through various stages of production. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and at least 2+ years of experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.

Essential Functions

• Follow all company safety rules and policies
• Maintain inventory of raw materials (e.g., frame parts, I-beams), including unloading delivery vehicles
• Complete and manage necessary paperwork at the time of material receipt
• Move raw materials through the production area
• Move chassis through production and into holding, coating, or drying areas
• Maintain the exterior yard (e.g., plowing, grading)
• Rotate into production team roles as needed
• Assist with equipment repairs when necessary

Preferred Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid lift truck operator’s license preferred (training available)

Required Competencies

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team to meet company goals
• Clear verbal and written communication skills (English required)
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, delivery receipts, frame prints, and measurements
• Meet production deadlines and project goals
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Operate lift trucks, tractors, and related equipment
• Use tools such as radios, stabilization devices, and tape measures
• Physically lift and maneuver over 50 pounds
• Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills
• Professionalism, tact, and diplomacy in team and customer interactions
• Ability to work in physically and mentally demanding conditions
• Adaptability to changing tasks and daily priorities
• Capable of working in extreme weather conditions
