Pay: $25–$28/hour DOE
Hours: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Some overtime on Fridays)

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Fitter Welder I to join a company specializing in the manufacturing of industrial equipment. This Fitter Welder role involves layout, fit-up, and welding of structural and pressure-related components while following engineering drawings and quality standards.

What the Fitter Welder I Will Be Doing

• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind, and bolt components into position for welding
• Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations
• Layout and fit nozzles, supports, and couplings per blueprint into shells
• Remove rough spots using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers
• Maintain a safe work environment and report defective tools or equipment
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures

Required Qualifications for the Fitter Welder I

• Ability to pass a 3G MIG / Flux Core weld test
• Experience fitting and welding industrial equipment components
• Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
• Familiarity with grinders, clamps, and welding tools
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
