Position Overview

Join a climate-controlled facility as a skilled 2nd Shift Fitter Welder and put your welding expertise to work on precision fabrication projects. The 2nd Shift Fitter Welder will perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in a professional shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on carbon and stainless steel materials.
• Perform TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols accurately.
• Operate in a climate-controlled shop with strict adherence to safety standards.
• Inspect welds and ensure compliance with company and industry specifications.
• Collaborate with fabricators and production staff to maintain project timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional welding experience in fabrication or manufacturing.
• Expertise in MIG and TIG welding processes required.
• Strong understanding of metal characteristics and welding techniques for multiple materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Welding certifications are preferred but not required.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of producing high-quality work with minimal supervision.
