Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Weekend shift must include Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and two additional weekdays)

We are seeking an experienced Fitter for a client in Sand Springs specializing in pressure vessels and heat exchangers. The ideal Fitter will have a minimum of five years’ experience fitting metal components to meet set standards and codes, ensuring the assembly and manufacturing of high-quality products. This position requires strong blueprint reading skills, advanced welding and cutting techniques, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities for the Fitter:

• Fit and assemble metal components for pressure vessels and heat exchangers according to standards and codes.
• Operate oxy/fuel cutting torches and Plas-Arc machines proficiently.
• Read and interpret AutoCAD prints for required specifications and dimensions.
• Tack weld per code and within welding procedure requirements.
• Apply advanced math and geometry skills to ensure precise fitment.
• Execute tasks with minimal supervision, safely and efficiently, to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
• Maintain less than a 5% fit-up rejection rate consistently.
• Exhibit punctuality, dependability, and a willingness to work outside standard hours as needed.
