Field Joint Coating Technician 

Pay: $16-18hr.

Hours: 6AM-2:30PM

Job Description:

Will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to plan and execute the coating process for pipeline field joints. Prepare and inspect pipeline joint surfaces to ensure they are clean, dry, and free from contaminants before coating application. Apply various types of field joint coatings, such as liquid epoxy, polyethylene, and polyurethane, using specialized equipment and techniques. Operate coating equipment, including sprayers, heaters, and curing systems, to achieve proper adhesion and thickness of coatings. Monitor environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity, to optimize coating application and curing processes.

Requirements: Needs to have minimum of 1 year in pipeline construction/coatings, with a focus on field joint coating application.
