Facilities Technician

Pay: $18+/HR. (Based on experience)

Hours: Day Shift

Job Brief:
We are seeking a Facilities Technician to oversee maintenance tasks, conduct repairs, and ensure the safety and functionality of all facility systems. This role requires a hands-on individual who can navigate maintenance systems, perform equipment inspections, and ensure smooth facility operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and use the maintenance CMMS system for accurate tracking and reporting.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical systems, generators, and other facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot building infrastructure to maintain optimal system functionality.
• Ensure compliance with LOTO procedures and Red Tag Permit Instructions.
• Perform monthly inspections on production equipment and replace parts as necessary.
• Collaborate with building management on facility renovations and improvements.
• Report maintenance metrics to management and coordinate inspections with department managers.
• Travel to various locations within the Port to carry out maintenance tasks.

Skills Required:

• Proficient in navigating and managing the maintenance CMMS system.
• Experience in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems, electrical systems, and generators.
• Knowledge of LOTO procedures and Red Tag Permit Instructions for safety compliance.
• Valid driver’s license for travel within the Port area.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Regular attendance, punctuality, and flexibility to work on-site and overtime when needed.
