Position Overview

The Fabricator / Assembler is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and bonding components using a variety of materials including metals, honeycomb panels, plastics, and other structural materials. This Fabricator / Assembler role involves working from blueprints and specifications to produce high-quality assemblies while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

The ideal Fabricator / Assembler is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and experienced in working with fabrication tools and assembly processes in a production environment.

Required Experience & Skills

• Previous fabrication, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read tape measures and interpret basic blueprints or drawings
• Familiarity with fabrication tools, drills, and assembly equipment
• Experience with bonding adhesives or fastener installation is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Ability to lift materials and work in a production environment

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble and fabricate components using metals, honeycomb panels, plastics, and structural materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Measure, cut, drill, and fit materials to required specifications
• Bond materials using adhesives and fastening methods
• Drill holes and install bolts, rivets, and screws
• Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely
• Inspect assembled components for accuracy, fit, and quality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies
