Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabrication Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in South Tulsa, OK. The Fabrication Operator will be responsible for operating industrial saws, drills, and other fabrication tools to cut, sand, deburr, and prepare sheet metal components for production. This position requires mechanical aptitude, precision, and a strong commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Operate saws and drills to cut, mill, tap, sand, deburr, and grind sheet metal components.
• Inspect fabricated parts for accuracy, quality, and readiness for the next process.
• Safely operate hand and power tools to meet daily production goals.
• Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Collaborate with laser and press brake teams to maintain efficient workflow.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S and safety standards.

What You Bring

• Experience operating industrial saws and basic fabrication tools.
• Familiarity with grinders, belt sanders, and measuring instruments.
• Ability to accurately use height gauges, calipers, tape measures, squares, and angle finders.
• Understanding of blueprints, work instructions, and basic shop math.
• Prior fabrication or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of laser cutting and/or press brake operations a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• This is a safety-sensitive position that involves operating power tools, handling materials, and working near machinery.
• Requires standing, bending, squatting, and climbing for up to 95% of the shift.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly (team lifts and lifting devices used when possible).
• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise, dust, and confined spaces.
