Fabrication Operator

· Location: Tulsa, OK
· Pay: $16–$18 per hour (Based on Experience)
· Shift Differential: Additional 11.5% on all hours worked
· Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Position Overview
A Tulsa-based company is seeking a Fabrication Operator to join their team at a climate-controlled facility specializing in the production of sheet metal components. This position involves the operation of various fabrication equipment and tools to support production processes.
Essential Functions
· Utilize saws and drills to mill, tap, sand, cut, deburr, and grind metal parts.
· Work with parts coming from the laser operator’s table and prepare them for the next phase of production.
Requirements
· Must have industrial saw experience.
· Minimum 2 years of fabrication experience in an industrial setting.
· Proficient in the use of hand grinders, belt sanders, and measuring tools (e.g., tape measures).
· Experience operating industrial machinery and equipment.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.
· Skilled in using hand and power tools.
· Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
· Must be team-oriented and self-sufficient.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This is a safety-sensitive position, involving tasks that directly impact the safety and health of the employee and others. Duties include:
· Handling and transporting hazardous materials.
· Operating vehicles, machinery, and power tools.
· Monitoring and maintaining critical infrastructure and systems.
· Working with volatile, flammable, or hazardous components.
Additional physical requirements:
· Frequent standing, bending, squatting, and climbing throughout the shift.
· Must be able to lift and carry parts weighing up to 50 lbs, often without mechanical assistance.
· Work may involve confined spaces and tight work areas.
