Pay: $14/hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Hours may vary due to company needs)
Location: Broken Arrow, OK
Job Type: Contract – 6 Months

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Fabrication specialist for a 6-month contract opportunity in Broken Arrow. This role requires operating conventional and CNC machining centers to fabricate both metallic and non-metallic components. The ideal Fabrication candidate will demonstrate expertise in machine operations, part assembly, blueprint interpretation, and quality control.

Primary Responsibilities
• Set up and operate machine tools including mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers
• Read and interpret blueprints, dimensions, and machining instructions
• Measure and mark materials for machining and fabrication
• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and preheating as needed
• Inspect workpieces for conformance to specifications using measuring equipment
• Develop layouts and fabrication sequences
• Assemble sheet metal products and complete full assemblies
• Operate CNC water jet and press brake machines
• Troubleshoot machining or assembly problems with engineers and team members
• Maintain compliance with export control, safety, and documentation protocols
• Exhibit professional and courteous behavior in all interactions

Required Skills & Experience
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CNC programming
• Familiarity with shop tools, including drill press, brakes, saws, and CNC machines
• Skilled in using precision measuring tools
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication
• Comfortable working with mathematical concepts relevant to fabrication and machining
• Ability to interpret written, oral, and diagram instructions
• Strong problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Visual requirements include depth perception, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment
• Moderate noise level work environment
