Job Description:

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Estimator to join their team in. As an Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of projects within the gas and oil refinery industry, with a primary focus on refinery/turnaround work.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Estimation: Estimate the costs and resources required for complete jobs in the gas and oil refinery industry, including but not limited to piping, welding, and material take-offs.

Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed cost analysis, considering factors such as labor, materials, equipment, and any additional expenses to provide accurate project estimates.

Man-Hour Calculation: Determine the required man-hours for project execution and plan labor allocation accordingly.

Travel: Willingness to travel to job sites is essential to assess the scope of work and conditions of the job site. Travel expenses will be covered by the company.

Qualifications:

Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of the gas and oil refinery industry, particularly in refinery/turnaround work, is essential.

Estimation Skills: Proficiency in estimating project costs, material quantities, and man-hours accurately.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with piping and welding processes, as well as the ability to perform material take-offs.

Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members, clients, and vendors.

Attention to Detail: The ability to meticulously analyze project requirements and produce accurate estimates.

Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing project needs and travel to various job sites as required.

Computer Proficiency: Proficient in using relevant software tools for estimation and project management.
