Pay: $90k-95k/yr.

Job Description:
Will research, develop, design, test, and evaluate electrical components, equipment, and systems, applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. Designs, and may direct engineering personnel in, fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and determines methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products. Schedules electrical construction and maintenance projects. Directs activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements. Diagnosing and solving electrical problems with the products. Installing, servicing, calibrating, and updating electrical systems. Repairing or replacing faulty electrical parts of a product. Developing and testing electrical system prototypes or simulated events and making modifications if required. Contributing to the compilation of user instructions. Conducting inspections to ensure that products or systems are in a safe and usable condition. May direct and coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations. Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, and ability to work on–site. Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management. Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.
Education/ Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering. 5 years of experience in electrical engineering field. Working experience in the specific industry is preferred. Knowledge of applicable norms and codes relevant to the job. National Electrical Code (NED) and other National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes.
