Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Drafting Checker to join our team in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of steel fabrication and design, along with experience working with fired heaters, boilers, and heat exchangers. This role is responsible for reviewing 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

·         Review and verify fabrication drawings for compliance with company fabrication standards.

·         Collaborate with the engineering team and draftsmen to maintain company standards and ensure accuracy.

·         Create 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings using Inventor and AutoCAD.

·         Generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) for production needs.

·         Prepare, review, and redraft technical drawings based on engineering feedback.

·         Identify and communicate potential design issues to the team.

·         Ensure that documentation and deliverables meet fabrication requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

·         Minimum 3 years of experience in drafting within a fabrication setting.

·         Proficiency in CAD software, specifically Inventor and AutoCAD.

·         Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Strong organizational and time management abilities.

·         Knowledge of steel fabrication and design is required.

·         Experience with fired heaters, boilers, or heat exchangers is necessary.
