Tire Department: 7AM-3:30PM

Oil/ Maintenance Dept: 12AM-8AM

Job Description:

Must have at least two years Diesel Experience.

Will be responsible for servicing company Diesel trucks in an efficient and timely manner by performing the following duties: Inspect tire casings for defects, such as holes and tears. Re-mount wheels onto trucks Identify and inflate tires correctly for the size and ply. Place wheels on balancing machines to determine counterweights required to balance wheels. Use necessary equipment/tools required to replace or install counterweights onto rims of wheels. Locate punctures in tires by visual inspection or by immersing inflated tires in water and observing air bubbles. Seal punctures in tubeless tires by inserting adhesive material and expanding rubber plugs into punctures, using hand tools. Replace valve stems and remove puncturing objects. Will be rotating tires.

Previous experience as a tire technician. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Punctual, dependable and detail oriented.
