Position Overview

We are seeking a responsible and dedicated Delivery Driver/S&R Helper to join our team in Claremore. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up boxes of parts from various customer locations. You will ensure that all deliveries and pickups are carried out professionally and efficiently while maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

·         Safely deliver boxes of parts to customers at various locations as required.

·         Pick up boxes from customers as needed.

·         Load the truck independently, ensuring the accurate count and recording of boxes on a log sheet.

·         Maintain organized files, records, and logs essential for mobile service operations.

·         Keep the truck clean both inside and out.

·         Drive the truck responsibly, adhering to all safety guidelines and always wearing a safety belt.

·         Refrain from using electronic devices while operating any forklift or company vehicles, including personal vehicles used for company business.

·         Observe customer policies on smoking/vaping; these activities are only permitted during designated lunch breaks and not in or around the vehicle.

·         Complete customer requests efficiently and professionally.

·         Receive and handle orders professionally.

·         Report maintenance issues to the facilities manager or supervisor promptly.

·         Maintain communication with the shipping & receiving clerk via the supplied company cell phone.

·         Follow all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including steel-toe boots.

·         Monitor vehicle mileage for timely oil changes.

·         Use the company-issued fuel credit card and cell phone solely for work purposes.

·         Utilize the Pike Pass on toll roads when needed.

·         Operate a forklift safely and effectively.

·         Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

·         Must pass a background check.

·         Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

·         Valid state-issued Driver's License.

·         Ability to drive a flatbed truck and navigate Tulsa and surrounding areas efficiently.
