Deburring Operator

Pay: $15-18/hr.

Hours: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6AM-6:30PM (Work 36 Paid 40)

Job Description:

We are looking for a deburring operator, where your role is vital in delivering high-quality products to our customers. You'll be responsible for blending mismatches left from machining complex metallic parts, ensuring they meet customer and industry specifications. Using a variety of tools such as belt sanders, manual blast equipment, abrasive wheels, buffing wheels, and drill presses, you'll grind, refine, polish, and deburr metal or synthetic surfaces. Your tasks will include blending and smoothing areas of parts, using tools like air grinders, belt sanders, and files. You'll work with various metals, including steel, aluminum, magnesium, and titanium, utilizing carbide burr tools to remove excess material without damaging the part. Additionally, you'll correct machine errors when necessary. Your role also involves inspecting and maintaining equipment, selecting finishes according to work instructions, and ensuring parts meet quality standards. Attention to detail is crucial as you perform visual inspections and complete necessary documentation accurately. Safety is paramount, and you'll be expected to work in a constant state of alertness while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements:

·  Must have the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

·  Must be able to maintain cleanliness in the work area to acceptable standards.

· Required to wear standard Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, dust mask, and ear protection due to tasks such as grinding, pressing, or basic assembly.

· Handling of sharp blades and machined parts necessitates wearing gloves to prevent lacerations and punctures of the hands and fingers.
