• Position Overview
The Customer Support Rep serves as a key liaison between customers, production, and internal teams to ensure accurate scheduling, smooth order flow, and on-time delivery. This Customer Support Rep role supports production coordination, materials planning, and customer communication in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Required Experience & Skills
• Minimum 3 years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments
• Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Serve as primary point of contact for customers, providing updates on order status and delivery schedules
• Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and shipping teams to ensure on-time product delivery
• Manage production scheduling and material readiness to maintain workflow efficiency
• Monitor production control activities to balance quality, cost, and timelines
• Track material movement throughout the production cycle to prevent delays
• Optimize schedules and resource allocation to improve operational efficiency
• Maintain accurate documentation related to customer orders and schedules
• Support additional operational and customer service tasks as needed
