Position Overview

The Counter Sales Associate is responsible for supporting daily sales operations by assisting customers, preparing quotes, and processing orders. This Counter Sales Associate role involves working directly with walk-in customers and handling phone inquiries while maintaining a high level of customer service. The ideal Counter Sales Associate is detail-oriented, communicative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure
• Basic math and organizational skills
• Ability to learn product knowledge and internal systems quickly
• Industrial or steel product knowledge is preferred but not required
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Assist walk-in customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Handle phone inquiries and sales
• Prepare customer quotes accurately and efficiently
