Position Title: Continuous Improvement Manager Type: Direct Hire
We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team in Catoosa, OK. This role will focus on developing, maintaining, and implementing Lean manufacturing systems while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to enhance costs, quality, and service performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategy Development and Communication:
Assist in developing, maintaining, and communicating a vision and strategy for a comprehensive Lean manufacturing system.
Set expectations for fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Process Improvement Leadership:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve costs, quality, and service.
Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, training, and workshops to drive cultural change.
Conduct root cause analysis to address and troubleshoot:
Manufacturing and assembly issues.
Material flow and project plans.
Production capacity and facility design.
Process documentation.
Data Analysis and Implementation:
Perform advanced data collection and analysis for process mapping.
Develop budgets and cost analyses to determine project feasibility.
Training and Methodologies:
Develop and implement systematic training programs.
Apply Continuous Improvement methodologies, including:
Six Sigma
5S
Lean Manufacturing
Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)
Collaboration and Reporting:
Track downtime results and communicate findings to management.
Collaborate with leadership to identify and prioritize cost-saving opportunities.
Review processes using data-driven tools to detect operating issues and assess ROI.
Team Building and Motivation:
Build and motivate teams to participate in process improvement initiatives.
Use project management skills to lead performance-enhancing projects.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of general management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills and Abilities:
Regular and punctual attendance with the ability to work on-site.
Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and team-building skills to lead process improvement initiatives.
Effective influencing and motivational abilities to achieve company goals.
