Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Component Assembler to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Component Assembler will trim, align, and assemble component parts using various hand and machine tools while maintaining strong attention to detail, safety, and production quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Trim and assemble component parts using hand tools and machine tools
• Pin obsidians plug to ensure components are aligned and properly positioned
• Perform all tasks safely, following Safety Sensitive job guidelines
• Complete final trimming as needed
• Accurately complete all required paperwork
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
• Strong reading comprehension skills
• Ability to exercise good judgment in production tasks
• Effective collaboration with co-workers to problem-solve
• Basic math skills
• Familiarity with hand tools and bench equipment
• Basic verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to understand job-related documentation and paperwork

Physical Requirements

• Moderate physical effort; prolonged standing required
• Regular use of hands; repetitive motions of fingers, wrists, elbows, shoulders, and neck
• Lift up to 20 lbs from floor to waist
• Ability to reach and lift objects up to 20 lbs
• Ability to speak clearly and visually inspect materials at close distance

Work Environment

• Climate-controlled manufacturing facility
• High noise levels
• Occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals, fumes, and gases
