Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Painter to join our Tulsa-based team. The Commercial Painter will be responsible for preparing, priming, and applying coatings to a wide variety of surfaces in commercial environments such as offices, retail, and light industrial. This opportunity is ideal for a Commercial Painter who values quality, efficiency, and strict safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces (clean, sand, scrape, prime)
• Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and coatings by brush/roller/spray
• Mix and match colors per spec; read blueprints and job scopes
• Protect adjacent areas; inspect finishes for quality and coverage
• Maintain tools/equipment; follow OSHA and company safety procedures
• Coordinate with other trades and on-site supervisors

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven commercial painting experience
• Familiarity with professional tools, materials, and techniques
• Comfortable with heights, lifts, or scaffolding
• Strong attention to detail and color perception
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity
• Knowledge of OSHA standards; valid driver’s license preferred

Preferred Skills

• Epoxy/industrial coatings or texture finishes
• Time & material estimating basics
• Drywall/patch/repair fundamentals
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
