CNC Programmer
Pay Rate: $25 - $30/hr Location: Sand Springs, Oklahoma Job Type: Temp to Hire
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team in Sand Springs, OK. This role requires expertise in setting up, running, and programming CNC Mills and Lathes, as well as designing and implementing tooling and fixturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and troubleshooting within a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Program, set up, and run CNC machines (Mill and Lathe) to manufacture high-precision components.
Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code) to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Design and implement tooling and fixturing to support production.
Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues, making necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
Ensure all parts meet strict quality standards and required tolerances through regular inspections.
Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance production efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
5+ years of CNC programming experience (Mill and Lathe).
Proficiency in G-code programming and CNC programming software.
Strong expertise in tooling and fixturing design.
Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and blueprints.
Experience in high-precision machining, preferably in aerospace or similar industries.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of productivity.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
High school diploma/GED required; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
