CNC Profiling Operator

Pay: $20-22/hr.

Hours:  Monday-Friday 5AM-5PM (Some overtime 5AM-3PM Saturdays)

Job Description:

The CNC profiling role involves setting up and operating CNC machines to fabricate parts according to specifications. The candidate must be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders accurately. Maintaining a clean and orderly work area and reporting potential hazards is essential. The job also requires performing routine maintenance on machines to ensure they remain in good working condition. Additionally, the candidate will assist in other areas of the facility as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and 2 years as a CNC Operator or similar role.
• Preferred experience with CNC-controlled burning equipment such as pipe/vessel profilers or burn tables (e.g., HGG, Vernon, or ESAB).
• Preferred experience with Carbon and Stainless Steel cutting using Oxy-Fuel and Plasma processes.
• Preferred previous experience with forklift and crane operation for preparing and loading raw materials and parts onto machines.
• Demonstrable knowledge of ASME code pressure vessel and piping dimensional tolerances is preferred.
• Strong computer skills and basic understanding of HMI (Human-Machine Interface).
• Strong technical aptitude and basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Proficient in using measuring instruments such as calipers, levels, and tape measures.
• Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and tools.
• Ability to monitor machine operations for malfunctions and adjust settings to maintain quality and productivity.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a team environment with regular attendance.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to a manufacturing environment and extreme weather conditions.
