• Position Overview

The CNC Mill Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications. This CNC Mill Machinist role requires hands-on machining experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain quality and efficiency throughout the production process.

• Required Experience & Skills

• Experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines independently
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tolerances, and offsets
• Ability to troubleshoot basic machining issues
• Dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The CNC Mill Machinist role includes:
• Set up CNC milling machines for production runs
• Load programs and adjust offsets as needed
• Perform test cuts and verify dimensions using measuring tools
• Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and efficiency
• Troubleshoot minor machine or process issues
• Perform routine machine maintenance and upkeep
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and production standards

• Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
• Familiarity with CNC programming or editing programs

• Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent use of hands and measuring tools
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
