Shift: Weekend Shift | Friday–Sunday, 12-hour shifts
Schedule: 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM (Paid for 40 hours)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist III to support an advanced aerospace manufacturing environment in Claremore. This role is ideal for highly skilled machinists producing complex, high-tolerance components while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
The CNC Machinist III will operate and oversee multi-axis CNC machines, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior machinists while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Guide and train Machinist I and II team members on CNC setup and operation
• Set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes for complex aerospace components
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions
• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM equipment
• Make offset adjustments and minor program edits to maintain part accuracy
• Monitor machine performance and tooling, ensuring part conformance
• Provide feedback and assist with process improvements and problem-solving
• Follow all safety, quality, and workmanship standards in compliance with AS9100
• Conduct routine equipment maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Maintain accurate production, inspection, and maintenance records
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Deburr parts and ensure proper locating and nesting for multiple operations
• Read, understand, and edit G-code and CNC control parameters
Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 7–10 years of CNC machining experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools and machining math
• Familiarity with AS9100 or other aerospace quality standards
• Technical training or CNC machining certification preferred
• Proficiency with CAD, CAM, MRP, and ERP systems
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
