Shift: Weekend Shift | Friday–Sunday, 12-hour shifts
Schedule: 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM (Paid for 40 hours)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist II to support a high-precision aerospace manufacturing environment in Claremore. This role is ideal for skilled machinists producing complex, tight-tolerance parts with minimal supervision while maintaining strict quality standards.
The CNC Machinist II will set up and operate multi-axis CNC equipment, including large 5-axis machining centers, contributing directly to company goals in Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Attitude (QCDSA).
Key Responsibilities
• Set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions
• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM equipment
• Make offset adjustments and calculations to maintain part conformance
• Monitor machine performance and tooling wear
• Communicate with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and recommend improvements
• Follow all safety and quality standards in a high-precision aerospace environment
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized
• Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and inspection records in accordance with AS9100
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities
• Deburr and finish parts to meet specifications
• Understand and edit G-code and CNC control parameters as needed
Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3–8 years of CNC machining experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Strong proficiency in machining math and precision measurement tools
• Familiarity with AS9100 aerospace quality standards
• Technical training or CNC certification preferred
• Experience with CAD, CAM, MRP, and ERP systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
