Shift: Weekend Shift | Friday–Sunday, 12-hour shifts
Schedule: 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM (Paid for 40 hours)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated CNC Machinist I to support a precision aerospace manufacturing environment in Claremore. This role is ideal for individuals building hands-on experience operating CNC machinery while working in a high-quality, high-precision setting.

The CNC Machinist I will operate CNC machines, assist with setups, inspect finished parts, and support production goals related to Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Attitude (QCDSA).

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machine tools, including 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and lathes
Read and interpret blueprints, engineered drawings, and work instructions
Measure and inspect parts using calipers and micrometers
• Monitor machining operations and make minor adjustments to maintain accuracy
• Verify setups by comparing operation sheets and parameters
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and problem-solving
Deburr and finish parts to required tolerances and surface quality
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records in accordance with AS9100 standards
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
• Perform routine machine cleaning and maintenance
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of G-code programming and CNC controls

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required
1–5 years of machining or manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and precision measurement tools
• Basic understanding of AS9100 aerospace quality standards
• Technical or vocational CNC training preferred
• Familiarity with CAD, CAM, MRP, and ERP systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to comply with OSHA, ITAR, FAA, and AS9100 requirements
• Ability to obtain internal certifications (forklift, crane, or related equipment)
