CNC Machinist

Pay: $20–$25/hour DOE
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a precision machining operation in Tulsa. This CNC Machinist role requires strong setup and operating experience across multiple CNC machines, along with the ability to read programs, inspect parts, and maintain high production and quality standards.

What the CNC Machinist Will Be Doing

• Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, and grinders
• Read, interpret, and make simple edits to CNC programs
• Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing documentation
• Use calipers, OD/ID micrometers, and other machinist measuring tools
• Calculate feeds and speeds to meet finish and tolerance requirements
• Produce high-quality parts in a timely manner
• Perform basic machine maintenance and care of equipment
• Apply shop math, including angles and fraction-to-decimal conversions
• Follow 5S / Lean manufacturing checklists
• Maintain productivity within assigned cell
• Train and mentor other employees within the cell as needed

Required Qualifications for the CNC Machinist

• 3–5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment
• Experience operating mills, lathes, and grinders
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills
• Ability to verify inserts and tooling with Machinist III or Shop Lead
• Good communication skills and attention to detail

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to move safely around operating machinery
• Use of hands, arms, and legs to move materials through machinery
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
