CNC Machinist
Pay: $20.00–$35.00 per hour
Location: Tulsa, OK
Hours: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–3:30 PM (overtime as needed)
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with 3 to 4 years of experience setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machines. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of machining processes and be proficient in using precision measuring tools to ensure quality production.
Responsibilities
Set up CNC mills and ensure high-quality part production.
Perform complete and accurate machine setups without assistance.
Properly set up and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines.
Conduct in-process inspections to verify quality.
Operate and monitor multiple machines as required.
Read CNC programs and make necessary speed and feed adjustments.
Troubleshoot machining jobs to ensure optimal efficiency.
Inspect part dimensions using precision measuring instruments (excluding CMM).
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of recent experience setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machines preferred.
Aerospace industry experience is a plus.
Proficiency in using precision measuring tools.
Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Strong understanding of customer specifications and machining requirements.
Familiarity with G and M programming codes.
Proficiency in operating HAAS and Fanuc controls; experience with Mazatrol turning is a plus but not required.
Strong math skills and attention to detail.
A commitment to continuous improvement and team collaboration.
Onboarding Requirements
Must be able to pass a national background check.
Must be able to pass a full-panel drug screening.
Valid driver’s license required.
