Shift: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist with experience operating Haas Lathe machines with Fanuc controls. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in machine setups, tool touch-ups, and offset changes, ensuring precision and quality in production. This role requires strong attention to detail, troubleshooting ability, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and set up Haas CNC Lathe machines with Fanuc controls, ensuring all parts meet required specifications.
Perform tool touch-ups, offset changes, and necessary adjustments for optimal machining.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to execute precise machining tasks.
Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary modifications to improve efficiency and product quality.
Monitor machine performance, identify potential issues, and collaborate with engineers and supervisors to optimize production processes.
Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of two years of experience operating CNC Lathe machines, preferably Haas with Fanuc controls.
Ability to perform setups, offset changes, and tool touch-ups with minimal supervision.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
Experience in diagnosing and resolving minor machine or programming issues preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required; machining certifications or technical training is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a high-volume precision machining environment.
Familiarity with G-code and M-code editing.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
