Location: Tulsa, OK 74146
Pay Rate: $25.00+/hr (DOE)
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist with experience operating Haas Lathe machines with Fanuc controls. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in machine setups, tool touch-ups, and offset changes, ensuring precision and quality in production. This role requires strong attention to detail, troubleshooting ability, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and set up Haas CNC Lathe machines with Fanuc controls, ensuring all parts meet required specifications.
  • Perform tool touch-ups, offset changes, and necessary adjustments for optimal machining.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to execute precise machining tasks.
  • Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary modifications to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Monitor machine performance, identify potential issues, and collaborate with engineers and supervisors to optimize production processes.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience operating CNC Lathe machines, preferably Haas with Fanuc controls.
  • Ability to perform setups, offset changes, and tool touch-ups with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
  • Experience in diagnosing and resolving minor machine or programming issues preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; machining certifications or technical training is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a high-volume precision machining environment.
  • Familiarity with G-code and M-code editing.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
